Description:  Southern Arkansas University strives to create an environment designed around all student needs. The faculty and staff of the University will do everything possible to ensure students become well-rounded individuals prepared for their roles in society. Located in Magnolia, Arkansas, SAU sits on 1388 acres and has an enrollment of around 3,100 students. The size of the University means that students get the kind of one-on-one attention they deserve with the low 19-to-1 student-teacher ratio. After class, students can find their niche in more than 80 student organizations. The University has spent more than $5 million on renovations and improvements over the past five years, and there is currently $22.4 million in new building projects now underway.
